Under broad direction and supervision, evaluates, designs, develops, and maintains, and enhances complex systems and features Designs, specifies, implements, and maintains systems using Agile scrum methodology. Serves as the primary technical point of contact of moderate to high complexity and of high value to the organization.
Participates in the investigation, specification and design of new features at client or business request and assists in the preparation of user stories, specifications, and estimates
Liases directly with business customers and strategic partners
Participates in the evaluation of new platforms, tools, and technologies.
Involved with the investigation and resolution of complex data, system, and software issues that may arise in the production environment.
Analyzes problems, conducts root cause analysis, helps in resolution of problems using defined problem management procedure, and helps in application support and maintenance of customer applications.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of full stack (front-end and back-end) development experience in C# .NET Strong experience working with VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office)
Experience with REST API(s), Asynchronous Processing, Windows Server, IIS, Apache
Strong understanding of one of SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle
Experience with testing automation tools and test-driven development
Experience with tools like Team Foundation Server or Jira
Experience with cloud based platforms like Azure or Amazon Web Services
Experience with Argus Software and/or real estate financial modeling a plus
Experience with VisualStudio for Office add-ins a plus
Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence frameworks and tools a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
