This is an exciting opportunity for a developer/ programmer as you will be coming on board to help run an existing operational Android data collection system. Initially you will be providing support to our existing IT team, both for initial setup of jobs and the day to day support of end users. In the longer term, you will be creative with ideas to improve both the front end UI and back end, Cloud based system. Due to the fast moving nature of the tablet market, you will be part of development and debugging to ensure that the software works across a range of hardware.
You will have an analytical mind and be confident dealing with large quantities of data in various formats. The role will include some data manipulation, creating reports for management and clients as required, and liaising closely with them to affect updates and validation changes to the data.
You will have a good grounding in Android App development, and be able to quickly get up to speed with the existing software code. This role will be perfect for someone who enjoys working as part of a small professional team, and enjoys semi-autonomous work with light supervision while still achieving the aims of the organisation.

We are a small, closely knit company based in the Midlands, currently consisting 7 employees and approx. 20 contractors, delivering stock condition data to clients around the UK in close partnership with a major international player in the real estate sector. From our spacious office in Southam we work all over the country, with a well established track record for quality.
Our Android and cloud based data collection system is used by teams of surveyors in the field to collect large quantities of data. This system is constantly evolving as needs and specifications change and our IT team work to ensure that it fulfils our needs.
