Senior Technical Consultant

Location: Eastern, Central or Western Region (remote)

This team works closely with innovative customers to implement and integrate Gigya’s products into a wide variety of customer platforms. In the Technical Consultant position, you will put your expertise to use to influence customer architecture decisions, provide insightful and creative solutions, and develop successful implementations. The primary function of the Senior Technical Consultant is to work directly with customers both remote and onsite to support. Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customer’s technical team to ensure implementations are successful
  • Identify and share Gigya implementation best practices with customers
  • Develop custom code and integration guides for customer implementations
  • Provide on-site training and guidance to technical and non-technical customer project members
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by clients, involving clients’ websites and mobile applications
  • Custom programming work to support tools and processes within Client Services
  • Provide technical expertise and solutions in a variety of environments including server-side (PHP, Java, .NET), mobile (iOS, Android) and client-side (JavaScript)


  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience. Master’s degree is a plus
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to business stakeholders and technical users
  • 5 + years’ experience developing, involving JavaScript and REST APIs
  • Ability to deliver high quality technical documents with attention to detail
  • Exceptional fundamentals in software architecture and development using multiple languages
  • Broad understanding of enterprise and web architectures
  • Solid understanding of mobile platforms
  • Critical and creative thinking
  • Passion for fast-paced problem solving
  • Experience with SaaS preferred
  • Ability to travel, up to 25% for certain projects
  • Web application and server-side development experience required
  • Mobile development (iOS and/or Android) experience is a plus
  • Previous experience working with SSO solutions (SAML, JWT, OAuth, OpenID), CRM and other identity management providers is a big plus
