Our technology stack and what you will be working with include Chef, Ruby, Docker, Consul, Nomad, Jenkins among others. However, this is an opportunity for the right engineer to get on the ground floor and play a key role in defining and evolving our architecture. We're completely open to anything that would make sense. So easy!
We're distributed team. This creates a strong must have experience in working remotely.
Ruby experience. You don't have to be master of Ruby. But yes, you need to be able to put your hands on Ruby easily. This includes knowing of a basic data structure, data types, etc.
We do things with Chef. It will be great if you have experience with Chef ecosystem but that's fine with if you have experience with other configuration management tools as well.
Experience in system administration / system engineering preferably in a high growth startup environment.
Deeply interested in the source of the problems. It just about curiosity.
Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods.
The nature of this project means that an ability to think on your feet and communicate constantly and professionally is ESSENTIAL.
