Join a small, dedicated team to help us get voters the facts they need! This remote or on-site position will support our researchers in Des Moines, IA, and users across the country. Help us operate and improve on our internal systems for data acquisition/entry, communications, and data housing. The majority of our systems are built upon Amazon Web Services with a wide variety of software and platforms.
Skills & Requirements
Responsibilities of this position will be to continually improve upon our current systems through automation, tuning, and addressing the continually changing needs of our organization. Knowledge of networking technologies as well as technical support of our staff, interns, and users will also be required.
To be considered for this position, you must have a solid understanding of *nix systems, as well as experience with a wide range of systems and platforms.
Bonus points for being familiar with any part of the Web stack, administration of other systems such as Windows or *BSD, or knowledge of SQL systems.
