As the Cyber Security Red Team Advisor you will be tasked with ad-hoc and ongoing execution of simulated cyber-attacks against CVS Health. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience conducting operations, to include heavy Cyber Red Team experience for a large enterprise and demonstrable experience with in-depth technical analysis and penetration of vulnerabilities that when exploited allow unauthorized access.
In this role, you will use advanced technology and threat intelligence to defend and protect CVS Health. It is critical that you ensure continuous improvements across detection, response and containment of threats. In addition, you will partner with the Security Operations Center(SOC) and Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) to identify improvement areas within each layer of defense.
-Minimum 5 years of Information Security experience at a large company performing network exploitation operations and the understanding networking essentials, data flows, network architecture, traffic, and protocols.
-Minimum 5 years experience working with Operating Systems and being knowledgeable with Windows and Linux, OS configuration, file system structures, OS components, mobile operating systems, etc.
-Minimum 3 years experience with Red Team operations
-Experience with security tools Metasploit, Burp Suite Pro, etc., as well as other various penetration testing tools.
-Ability to successful perform in an interrupt-driven environment and to effectively document and communicate findings to leadership.
-Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments within and outside of security.
-Ability to lead/influence others to ensure CVS Health is protected.
-An obsession with the learning of adversarial activities while understanding tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) and emulating these TTP to assess vulnerability and risk at CVS Health.
-Knowledge of malware packing and obfuscation techniques.
-Ability to automate using a scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.
-Experience with network forensic packet analysis.
-Experience with multiple security technologies such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Proxies, DLP, NAC, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, similar discipline or High School Diploma/GED accompanied by adequate relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
