Apple is seeking a proven Data Product Manager to join the Apple Video Analytics and Data Products team. In this role, you will develop data solutions to drive actions that improve customer engagement and growth in Apple's video products.
As a data product manager you should understand statistics, big data technologies, and the analytics workflow, with the ability to code and trouble-shoot a data pipeline. You should also have a strong product instinct with the ability to identify KPI that drive action, using excellent communication skills to gather requirements and deliver analysis and reports.
In this role, you will gather business and technical requirements for the data needed to support core Apple video product features and programs, working with project managers, analysts, and engineering teams to design and develop reports, APIs, tools, and visualizations.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and conveying results in a presentation format
- Well-versed in SQL languages
- Experience utilizing tools/technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Python, R, Spark, big data frameworks
- Ability to translate key findings from code or a spreadsheet into a visual presentation that is clear, concise, and actionable for a variety of audiences
- Strong leadership skills to influence and work across teams as a thought partner
- Ability to initiate and deliver a project independently
- Experience with content, media, and/or subscription business model preferred
Description: Help grow the emerging Apple video products with an aggressive trajectory in the competitive streaming content landscape. Leverage your data domain expertise for stakeholders throughout the organization, guiding decisions on product features, customer experience, and strategic opportunities. You love building narratives backed by data and demonstrate a strong desire to continually improve the customer experience.
This is a full-time position in iTunes and is located in Cupertino, CA.

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant field.
